End of the Trail Cattle Drive: We are responsible for the care, maintenance and any expansion of this project. Median upkeep is adopted by various local community groups and individuals.
Supporting the Tradition Bull: The newest addtion to the End of the Trail. For those who missed out on getting in on the sculptures, this is a more economical way to support our community.
Main St. & Front St. Lights: This is a cross-group entire community project. To follow in the historic look & feel our town has, we need new lights! It's going to be expensive and a long process, but it will sure be worth it!
Cottonwood's Honorary Mayor Race: Every year, the town of Cottonwood rallies around it's local non-profits and elects our "mayor." It's a fun job that is for one year and votes are cast by every dollar raised. The CEC holds a fundraising dinner in October to help raise funds for our current projects. Check back in the fall to find out who our candidate is and how you can help support Cottonwood through this great campaign.
Semi-annual Plant Sale: Starting in the fall of 2010, the CEC will have a twice a year pre-order plant sale. One will be for spring planting (around April) and one will be for fall planting (September/October.) There will be a list of available plants with prices - some specialty items may become available but also may have an extra charge. All funds go to support our current projects and are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
